Tattoops
Creating a party board game with a novelty twist for the mass gift market.
This drawing game is designed around the experience of getting a tattoo and as a satire around bad tattoos that don’t look like what they are meant to - “is it some kind of bird or…?” Whilst most drawing games will have you doodling on paper, instead you try and draw on each other's skin with chalk skin-safe pens. In addition, this pen would have a small device at the end that would oscillate to mimic a real tattoo gun. On your turn you would pick up a card and choose between three prompts of various difficulty, the harder the prompt, the more points you get if someone can tell what you have drawn.
I worked on all aspects of this game myself with the aim of producing a party game that uses a unique twist. Including concept development, this project took about two weeks to make just in time for a board game pitch event. I was lucky enough to have this board game and Pando looked at by the top industry professionals (including Hasbro and the creators of Exploding Kittens) who were able to give feedback and assistance regarding the next stages I could move the games into.
All content including the short video was created for the pitch event.
